Meet Brian

Brian Gilroy is the founder of Conservation Capital Consulting and Wildlife Partners, the leading name in the exotic wildlife breeding and investment arena. With extensive experience in both the hands-on and financial facets of ranching, Brian offers a rare blend of practical insight and strategic expertise. His mission is to help fellow ranch owners navigate the complexities of wildlife breeding depreciation, cost segregation, and conservation easements and other tax strategies tailored to the Texas ranching landscape.

After entering the financial services industry in 1998 he became deeply interested in tax law, corporate structure and investment vehicles. Brian spent almost 30 years developing financial strategies that limit the government’s reach into investment returns. Having built the largest wildlife breeding business in the United States, generating $350m in sales and building assets worth hundreds of millions of dollars, his track record demonstrates his ability to not only develop concepts, but also to execute and see them to completion.

Brian is well known speaker and the creator of the "Wild About Taxes" events, an educational series that brings ranch owners and CPAs together to explore cutting-edge tax strategies. He is passionate about continuing education for tax professionals, ensuring that CPAs are fully equipped to leverage the latest tax provisions for their clients.
